It might be the beginning of a fresh new building firm, however MacIver Construction is founded on over 15 years of extensive building experience.
The early years involved working on multiple Custom home developments as a junior site manager. Leading into site supervisory on a 42 storey commercial building, then a 1,000,000 SF state of the art health care facility. Fast forwarding to the beautiful province of BC, and working on several complex residential renovation projects and a few energy efficient homes. MacIver Construction slowly developed momentum into the high performance building contractor it is today.
We combine the project management skills from years working on complex construction projects with extensive hands on experience to provide clients with a well rounded building experience.
OUR MISSION
We believe in building homes not only for healthy families but also for healthy futures. Our goal is to change the way we look at homebuilding and the construction industry. By promoting positive futures for anyone looking to work in the trades. And by building energy efficient buildings that are simple to build, simple to use and simply better built.
Simple form, simple layout all while maximizing shared spaces. Spend more time planning and less time building.
BUILT SIMPLE.
Using only high efficient building envelope products, working with only environmentally conscientious partners. Emphasis on the “house as a system”.
BETTER BUILT.

VISION
To build our way towards a healthy and sustainable building future.
-

MINDFULNESS
Being “mindful” in our businesses is sort of an umbrella like viewpoint on the overall big picture. Think of it as the “why” we are in business. Our actions in business can not only have a positive impact, but also a negative impact. So we should be mindful for all of our actions when working towards a sustainable building future.

CURIOSITY
The desire to know shows our desire to learn and desire to grow. We cannot move forward if we are not looking around the next corner or asking what’s on the horizon.
